Gala Night: Dosa special dinner | PGPM Class of 18 | Great Lakes Institute of Management

The scene is set. One hectic year of Management course ahead. Piling assignments, class works, quizzes, exams and what not. Amidst the rising tension, Great Lakes Management did the (almost) unthinkable. They organized a Gala Night : Dosa special dinner, the night before the first end terms.

I remember my school days, when my dad used to take me for movies the day before the exams and I literally thought this could not happen elsewhere. Until the night of the Dosa party !!

The 2-hour long gala night saw some of the finest chefs from Sodexo showcase their skills in bringing out variety of Dosas and chutneys. The spread included Plain Dosa, Masala Dosa, Paper Roast, Podi Dosa, Onion Uttappam, Tomato Uttappam and Mix-veg Uttappams to select from the live counters. Sambar, Potato Masala, Coconut Chutney, Kara(spicy) Chutney and Mint Chutney. Tomato Pulao was an addition. Not to forget those gorgeous Gulab Jamuns. I had quite a few of them.

Needless to say, the food was brilliant. The turnout was huge and the party mode was properly set. With the speakers playing the latest Bollywood numbers and the students dancing to the tune, it was no less than a TGIF party.

Great Lakes as a team worked well and took the event to a huge success. Thanks to the Sodexo team and the students committee for the contribution and coordination.
