What a perfect time of the year to be munching on some yummy kebabs. That too to experience the brilliant food in an amazing roof top is the best you can ask for on a chilly night. The Great Kebab & Biriyani Festival is a 10-day long festival which gets over on the 31st of this month. The fest is happening at Level 12, one of the finest roof top ambiance the city has seen. Poolside seating, almost 360 degree view of the city and breeze.
Lucknowi Tangdi Kebab: Personally, I dont prefer leg piece. But this very preparation is simply mind blowing that I had almost my 3rd helping. Medium spicy lucknowi marination and a well cooked chicken grilled to perfection.
The 10th edition of Sunburn was one of the much awaited event of the year. The excitement level was indeed high for the fest which is a decade old. Top artists from all over the world were in the line up and a musical extravaganza was on the cards.
The first bad news came almost a week before the event. Local residents of the Kesnand village were against the fest. The DJ fraternity of too joined the protest for a totally convincing reason.
Indigo Delicatessen, a name that India is familiar with for over a decade now. Indigo Deli has always delighted their patrons with their selection of meat and bakes. This time, it was Punekar’s turn to witness and taste what Indigo has to offer.
A tasting session at Indigo Deli went like this:-
Corn and Potato chowder: Slow roasted potatoes and crushed corns along with strips of tender chicken was served on a plate and the hot soup poured over them. The chowder was perfect and the distinct taste of all the ingredients could very well be felt.
