The season has come, which all the cricket devotees were eagerly waiting for. Right from the start of the T20 WC till the end of IPL in late May, T20 is gonna rule the cricketing world. Raining boundaries, broken wickets, extra-ordinary catches and some on field sledging are all on the cards for this season. Not able to arrange tickets for the matches? Not able to travel far to reach stadiums to support your favorite teams? What if there’s a solution?
Pune has the answer. ‘Effingut’, is the answer.
Effingut is the synonym of Craft Beers. And they have made it a point that the beer keeps rotating every now and then, with some of the major house brews always on tap. Now, you can chose from Hefeweizen(German Wheat), Marzen Lager, Pale Lager, Caramel Ale, Apple Cider, Strawberry Cider and Peach Ginger Melomel.
Courtyard Marriott, Hinjawadi, is hosting an Asian Grills Festival. The festival commenced on 16th May and will go on till the 26th of the month. One can enjoy the Asian delicacies between 7 pm and midnight for a good deal of 1299++.
Warm welcome by the host is always a pleasant sight. Hats off to Courtyard for a bunch of energetic and pleasing staff right from service staff to Managers to Chefs. A chiller table was already reserved for the Bloggers table.
They do boast good ambiance as well. Couple of cabanas, chiller tables, normal table, greenery all round, live screening of matches-what more one could ask for? The only challenge, however, is that few hot evenings after a drizzle!! Well, it was no different in the day we went as well. As the evening progressed and meats chowed, we did start feeling the heat.
Tertulia in Spanish means an informal gathering to discuss about current affairs, arts and what not. Very well, The B-Team didn’t jump into current affairs. We did discuss art. The art of chugging and chowing of course.
To say the least, this exclusive food tasting session witnessed a display of amaaaaazing food and trippy drinks. To have a meal in a place which boasts its ambiance as Terttulia does, calls for a celebration. Efficient staff made the outing much more enjoyable.
We started off with a few drinks….
Appletini: Could a Martini ‘BE’ any better? It was that good. Ice cold Martini, shaken not stirred, served with fresh green apple slices. One of the favorites of the table and yes, highly recommended.
